![]() My question is if this mod came to completion, would that freeze up still occur? (Or) have you, or anyone else, ever come across that freeze-up? Thanks for what you guys are doing. I have quite a bit of knowledge on PSP Homebrew (not coding anything), so I know of Popsloader. No matter what I tried, it would always freeze. Chrono Trigger also introduces a New Game+ option after completing the game, where the player may begin a new game with the same character levels. You see the game always freezes after the first boss is defeated after obtaining the Komodo Scales. The re-release of Chrono Trigger for the DS features a new ending that can be accessed from the End of Time upon completion of the final extra dungeon, which also contains a new optional final boss. Before I bought it, I tried for about a couple months to get it to work on my hacked PSP. I would like to put this modded game along side the official version I bought off of PSN. I know guys are trying put the modded game into a (possible) one disc format. ![]() Is it possible to stick some music that has the same arrangements, but some "fuller" (like orchestrated remixes) tracks into the game replacing the original, but awesome music? Are you guys also going to put some music into the Time Devourer boss? Correct me if I'm wrong.I saw this series of posts, so I decided I had to register and post something. The anomalistic nature of the binding and the unique vantage from the Darkness Beyond Time afforded it the capacity to become a Time Devourer.Īlso, GL, I believe your post was made before the concept of Time Bastard was created, which would prevent multiple Time Devourers anyway. The explanation goes, Lavos was able to use Schala, a physical object in the DBT, to somehow prevent its nullification and achieve a physical existence there. and later inside the Pocket Dimension, it nullified this future, sending it to the Darkness Beyond Time. When Crono and the group defeated Lavos directly at 1999 A.D. Now, considering the ], there existed a future within the Pocket Dimension of Lavos in which he had already destroyed the world and proceeded to spawn. We already know that due to a horrible distortion, Schala was shunted to the Darkness Beyond Time as a physical object (not rewritten history) and left there. The answer lies within the nature of the Darkness Beyond Time. How did Lavos bind with Schala after being clearly defeated in Chrono Trigger? Was it a spawn? We must also consider how Schala came to be inside the pocket dimension with Lavos. WebDario is a boss fought in Chrono Cross. There was only one version of the pocket dimension in the Darkness Beyond Time. The pocket dimension theory provides the solution, so long as we surmise that the TD originated from the pocket dimension within the DBT. If Lavos exists outside the pocket dimension after 1999 AD, eliminating the ruined future does not create a TD. ![]() Since only one Time Devourer ever existed, we can confirm that the TD did not arise from changes to the normal timeline. In the new timeline, the pocket dimension simply collapses, but the original timeline containing the future version of Lavos is cast into the darkness, pocket and all. that this was the part which consequently evolved into the Time Devourer. Only when Crono enters the pocket itself and destroys Lavos there, is the pocket dimension timeline altered. Chrono Compendium » Enhasa Halls - Chrono Series Analysis » Lavos, the Planet, and other Entities » Time Devourer/Lavos shell. Within the Pocket Dimension, Lavos is unaffected by any changes made to the timeline of the outside world. Thus, as time passes within the pocket, to any external observer Lavos is unchanging for all time. In the pocket, time flows along an axis perpendicular to the normal timeline. Lavos exists within a pocket or warp in space-time, which is connected to all time periods simultaneously. Was Lavos inside the Darkness Beyond Time, or beyond it?īy applying the pocket dimension theory to the Time Devourer, these problems are easily resolved.
